Using our deep understanding of early childhood development and careful observations of each child, we curate a program that evolves with their interests, strengths, and needs—ensuring every child is truly seen, heard, and valued.
No worksheets or cookie-cutter programs here! This responsive, intentional approach fosters a genuine love for learning, empowering children to become confident, curious, and capable lifelong learners.

We are dedicated to supporting and developing children’s well-being, curiosities, strengths and interests in a small, warm and nurturing learning environment.
We believe children thrive when they are engaged in experiences that evoke a sense of joy, creativity and wonderment and nurture their whole being - body, mind and spirit.
Children are innately curious and interactive learners, and thrive when absorbed in authentic and playful experiences that are developmentally appropriate.
Our aim is to provide young children with holistic educational experiences that help them to flourish.
About me
Hi, I’m Emma
I'm the founder and lead educator of Flourish, an experienced educator and passionate advocate for holistic early childhood development.
With over 20 years of experience as a fully registered Early Childhood / Primary School teacher, I have worked across childcare settings and primary schools, primarily teaching Prep to Grade 3 in England, New Zealand, and Australia.
My background also includes designing and writing curriculum for primary schools in First Nations communities in Far North Queensland.
Since 2016, I have been creating enriching learning experiences for young children through playgroups, workshops, and family day care sessions across Brisbane.
This passion has evolved into Flourish Children's Collective—a space where children can explore, create, and develop essential life skills through play-based, holistic education.
I believe that the first five years of life are critical for building a strong foundation for lifelong learning. My goal is to provide families with high-quality, engaging early education programs that nurture curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning while also giving parents peace of mind (and a little time for themselves!).
