Often when we think of school readiness, we think of preparing children with literacy and numeracy skills but there is so much more we can do to set our children on the path to success at school and beyond.
In addition to practising early literacy and numeracy skills through play, children will engage in learning experiences that build character strengths, resilience and growth mindset as well as foster essential social and emotional skills. Through evidence informed practices, Flourish Pre-School children will also learn about their brain and how to look after their mental health so that they can truly flourish.
Throughout the morning, your child will have the opportunity to engage in developmentally appropriate play-based learning, mindfulness practices and creative exploration, as well as group activities.
Over the year, Flourish Pre-Schoolers will build the foundational knowledge and skills essential for being productive life-long learners, prepared not just for their first year of school, but a lifetime of growth and well-being!

No, this is a drop and go program. However, we understand that for some children, transitioning away from their caregivers is a big step. We want all children to feel comfortable and supported and as such, parents are welcome to stay and settle their child in.
We are experienced in supporting children with separation anxiety.
We will work closely with you to support your child, fostering a sense of safety and trust as they gradually transition into our program and build confidence in being away from you for a short period of time.
Our small group, high adult/child ratio and peaceful environment helps enormously with this process.
Yes! Alternate week bookings to fit in with your child's Kindergarten program are welcome.
All bookings are non-refundable. Unfortunately we can not offer refunds or credits for individual weeks missed in the term. We appreciate your understanding.
Sessions cancelled by the organiser due to unsafe weather conditions or educator illness will be rescheduled or credited to your account. You will be notified of any cancellations by 8am on the day.
On wet weather days, we will spend more time in our classroom. However, rainy day outdoor play can be lots of fun so on these days, your child is encouraged wear gumboots and raincoat or wet weather coveralls to our session.
Our session will be cancelled in the event of heavy rain or thunderstorms. You will be notified no later than 8am if our session will not go ahead.
We follow ACECQA guidelines for adult to child ratios and have two adult educators at each session. Our groups are small to ensure that educators are able to build strong relationships with each child and meet the needs of individuals.
Schedule a time during one of our open mornings or term time sessions using the online booking form below.
Come along and meet our educators, see our play space and have a chat about the Tinker Garden program while your child plays.
You will be sent an enrolment form & invoice for the term, or remaining sessions and your child can start attending the following week.
"Our son really flourished in Emma's care and he felt so safe and happy there. Her practice is a beautiful alchemy of all the best bits of the education world. She holds space for children so calmly and with so much presence. She is fun and creative and her space is filled with beautiful toys, engaging projects and lots of love and care. I couldn't have wished for a better person to trust with my son. I would recommend her again and again and again."

“Both of my children have attended Flourish for Tinker Garden and one so far for Kindy. Emma is like an extension of our family - she is so welcoming, loving and supportive with each and every child in her care and makes drop offs a breeze knowing that the kids are happy, engaged and quite literally flourishing in the beautiful space she holds and creates.”
