Our 9am – 2pm ‘drop and go’ school readiness program is designed for children 3 yrs – 5 yrs. Brisbane parents will love our small group, holistic school readiness program that supports their children to flourish - socially, emotionally and academically.
Often when we think of school readiness, we think of preparing children with literacy and numeracy skills but there is so much more we can do to set our children on the path to success.
In addition to practising early literacy and numeracy skills through play, children will engage in learning experiences that develop holistic school readiness – learning about character strengths and the importance of resilience and a growth mindset, as well as fostering essential social and emotional skills. Through evidence informed practices, Flourish Pre-School children will also learn about their brain and how to look after their mental health so that they can truly flourish.
Over the year, our school readiness program will support Flourish Pre-Schoolers to build the foundational knowledge and skills essential for a lifetime of growth and well-being!
Flourish Pre-School is the perfect compliment to your child's Kindy program.

At Flourish Children’s Collective, children learn best by doing, exploring, imagining and connecting - not by sitting at desks or completing worksheets. Our programs are intentionally designed to be developmentally appropriate and genuinely engaging for young children.
This means:
We create an environment where children are free to follow their curiosity, build resilience, and develop strong foundations for lifelong learning - naturally and joyfully.

Each day, our Pre-School and Tinker Garden groups come together for a morning of outdoor sensory play, creative process art opportunities and imaginative play experiences.
A short music and movement session brings us together before our Pre-School children head into our Play Studio - a warm, thoughtfully curated indoor space filled with playful invitations that support early literacy, numeracy, creativity and problem solving.
During a gathering circle our Pre-School children are introduced to Positive Education practices - learning about character strengths, understanding their brains, and exploring simple wellbeing strategies for resilience and emotional regulation.
We wrap up our day with calm guided meditation, mindfulness practices and restful play to reset before heading home at 2:00pm.
Every part of our day is intentionally designed to help children grow socially, emotionally and cognitively to ensure they truly flourish.
At Flourish, we’re committed to creating a calm, balanced and supportive learning environment where every child can truly thrive.
To help us achieve this, all families are invited to book a trial session before an enrolment place is offered.
This trial session allows us to:
Following the trial session, we’ll chat with you about next steps and let you know whether we can offer a place.
We appreciate your understanding and partnership as we continue to build a learning community in which every child can play, grow, and flourish.
PLEASE NOTE: THERE ARE NO MORE FREE TRIALS AVAILABLE IN 2025. PLEASE COMPLETE AN ENROLMENT APPLICATION AND WE WILL BE IN TOUCH!

No, this is a drop and go program. However, we understand that for some children, transitioning away from their caregivers is a big step. We want all children to feel comfortable and supported and as such, parents are welcome to stay and settle their child in.
We are experienced in supporting children with separation anxiety.
We will work closely with you to support your child, fostering a sense of safety and trust as they gradually transition into our program and build confidence in being away from you for a short period of time.
Our small group, high adult/child ratio and peaceful environment helps enormously with this process.
Yes! Alternate week bookings to fit in with your child's Kindergarten program are welcome.
All bookings are non-refundable. Unfortunately we can not offer refunds or credits for individual weeks missed in the term. We appreciate your understanding.
Sessions cancelled by the organiser due to unsafe weather conditions or educator illness will be rescheduled or credited to your account. You will be notified of any cancellations by 8am on the day.
On wet weather days, we will spend more time in our classroom. However, rainy day outdoor play can be lots of fun so on these days, your child is encouraged wear gumboots and raincoat or wet weather coveralls to our session.
Our session will be cancelled in the event of heavy rain or thunderstorms. You will be notified no later than 8am if our session will not go ahead.
We follow ACECQA guidelines for adult to child ratios and have two adult educators at each session. Our groups are small to ensure that educators are able to build strong relationships with each child and meet the needs of individuals.
"Our son really flourished in Emma's care and he felt so safe and happy there. Her practice is a beautiful alchemy of all the best bits of the education world. She holds space for children so calmly and with so much presence. She is fun and creative and her space is filled with beautiful toys, engaging projects and lots of love and care. I couldn't have wished for a better person to trust with my son. I would recommend her again and again and again."
